The much-anticipated first person shooter Wolfenstein is due for release this year. Catch a sneak peak HERE.
Wolfenstein’s legacy is epic. You can’t call yourself a gamer without having played Wolfenstein games, Castlevania games, and of course your original Zelda games. Wolfenstein has come a long way since it began in 1981 - and even in the beginning they were raising the bar for video games. Unlike most games of the time, guards reacted to gunfire and grenades. Another amazing feature was that characters had to not only kill enemies, but could search their bodies for useful items. These were revolutionary at the time.
The new Wolfenstein has made leaps and bounds from its humble beginnings as an Atari 8-bit game. This new game’s graphics look top-notch, for starters!
Wolfenstein will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Wolfenstein has a huge fan base and in my opinion as one of them, this is the game of the year.
Why does Wolfenstein sell? For one, their games are always ahead of their time, with great graphics and a class system that is second to none. And who can deny themselves the simple pleasure of taking on a Nazi army?
This game is sure to excite gamers for generations to come. Don’t believe me? Look at Wolfenstein 3D - it still sells 16 years after its release.
